Serves him right. A little anger management therapy perhaps?

I thought Hawaiians were laid back too!

Did anyone see Good Morning America this morning? They did a piece on nutty parents attacking officials, other parents, even players on the field. They called it an epidemic, as I recall. Conclusion: Game management has to start addressing parent behavior, including training the parents how to behave at contests.

One of the videos showed a football official getting hit by a parent who was an assistant coach on one of the youth teams. The kid had been involved in some extracurricular activity following a tackle and the official had picked him up out of the scrum. Makes you think that breaking up a fight is not the smartest course of action (unless you're a boxing referee).

To see the GMA story online you have to sign up for ABC News online, but there is a link to this particular video on another thread: Not Basketball, But Another Parent on the Field

Its only going to get worse. The more these kind of idiots are highlighted on sportscenter, the news, the newspaper, it only feeds their need for attention.

Have an incident during a baseball game, football game etc., and that's the lead highlight for ESPN.

It attracts the viewers so they will show it.

The only problem is that its quickly making its way into every little town across the country.

Thanks
David
