Exclamation Referee training

I am organizing an introductory referee course for the first time. In time, I hope to add more advanced modules, increasing the level of knowledge and skill of young referees.
We use FIBA rules, however FIBA organisations that I know of do not have case books like the organizations most of you belong to. I would be grateful for any contribution from you in the following areas: program set-up; curicullum; case studies; any visual aids; and any video material that could be downloaded from net or that you can (legaly) email me a copy.
I am aware that similar requests were made in the past, and that some of you may be getting a bit tired. Resources are very limited at my end, with bball being a minor sport that has only started gaining in popularity over the last 5-6 years. So, thank you in advance for your patience, and your help.

Fiba casebooks are available in N.Z. Try the B.B.N.Z. They have them or else go to Alan Godden for any information you need. Cheers

Nick, hope you don't mind me asking... Where are you located?
Allan will send me some stuff, but I didn't get the impression that it will contain a case book.
Any other suggestions? I know I can buy DVD's from the FIBA store which are not all that expensive, but being in NZ the postage they are asking is kinda ridiculous.

Where are you from? Scince you use FIBA I presume Europe or Asia.
I don't have that much material, and definetly not videos and such. But I belive you can find case-plays on fibas website, there are case-plays in the rules book download I think (this was included in the swedish 04 copy but not in the later 05 wich I have). I can check up on that when I have time

Ask them not to charge you the postage in metric.

And no - I never get tired of it.
