Yokosuka camp
I am going to a camp at Yokosuka base in Japan in mid-August. It will be run by an American D-1 official using NCAA rules/mechanics. The head of the Japanese profesional league will also be there observing/teaching/recruiting.
If you want to register let me know ASAP. (I don't know of any International camps. I've been overseas for some years and everyone usually goes to the States in the summer to go to a camp.) Last edited by oc; Wed Jun 28, 2006 at 03:04am. |

On the FIBA FAQ it says:
"Q: How do I become an international referee? To become an international referee, you must follow the procedure laid down in the Internal Regulations of FIBA: Chapter 7: Regulations governing International Referees, article 7.1, "Qualification and Appointment". Then please contact your national federation which has the information about the next Clinic for International Referee Candidates." |

Hmmm, interesting. But I don't recall ever hearing of a USA Basketball or FIBA game happening anywhere near me. How much basketball is there played in the US under the USA Basketball or FIBA?
