DII Men's Championship

Anyone know the names of the officials from the VA Union/Winona St. game?

Who was the official under the basket as Shinn shot the 1-and-1 with 5.6 seconds left in regulation of the UConn-GW game? No doubt a good official, but you would think that it would not escape notice that he walked into the play to retreive the missed FT, mistakenly thinking it to be a 2-shot foul. Luckily, the UConn guys outrebounded him!!

I think you are talking about the UCON/George Mason game and the shooter's name is Skinn.

The official is Zelton Steed. I noticed the same thing. I also would think his focus would be better than that.
The last time I watched the movie Eddie, I noticed Zelton Steed and Jamie Luckie were two of the officials in the movie.

GW hasn't played UConn in the past several seasons . . .

Be a fun game, though -- grizzled old coach against his former assistant. Heck, they probably still love each other so much you might not even need refs.

The answer is Zelton Steed. Very good official who works the Big 10 and several other midwest-based D1 leagues.

I am the guy who was under the basket. If you noticed the ball rattled and came out. I thought it was going in. Luckily I still rebound as I did in college--very badly.

Tom Mauer, Everett Summers, Cornell Scaife

Tom Mauer is the brother of Ken Mauer of the NBA. Tom is very solid. I think he works a few games in the Big 10, Big XII and WNBA.
