Oh, an impossible shot by Tennessee with .4 left sends Winthrop home. I took Winthrop. Great game, tho. They played out of their minds.

Montana is about to take out Nevada.

They earned it.

Too bad that they aren't playing #13 Pacific in the 2nd round.

Go Vols!

This better wake them up or Wichita State will pound them Saturday.

I'm 6-1 through the first "block." Best I've started in a while. Darn Montana!

Even if they ARE awake they will get pounded. I have BC, UConn, Pitt & Duke in the Final 4, but I am hoping like heck that McNamara steals the ball from Redick & hits a 3 at the buzzer to win before it gets that far.

That was very close to being a backcourt violation at the end of the Tennessee game. The Tennessee player rebounded the ball and then tried throwing the ball to his teammate. The ball went in the backcourt and his teammate picked it up.

It would have been tough to determine control and make the call live.

The clock also didn't start when it touched the player with .4 seconds left. The Winthrop player picked it up and shot it. What would have happened if the shot went in? How do you fix this by rule?

I must confess I took Winthrop as well. Dang! They had plenty of opportunities to win the game, only scored like one bucket in the last 6 minutes or so, and had their tallest player winging up wide open shots from everywhere and not coming close.

I've also got BC in the final four, and I was sweating that out. What in the WORLD is Al Skinner thinking at the end of regulation, giving the ball to Craig Smith to go end-to-end??? Then completely going away from the inside game in the first OT. A couple of late 3's in the first overtime saved them in a game they should have lost.

Ain't gonna happen. Texas A&M made sure of that. McNamara will be sitting at home like the rest of us peons.

Bucknell over SEC team

Northwestern St over Big Ten champions

Craig Littlepage and crew sure had some nerve trying to get more mid-major teams in the tournament.

Maybe they should be letting more mid-Major ref's in the tournament also.

Is anyone else watching these games live on ncaasports.com/mmod? The best thing they have come up with in a while.

Live streaming of the games as they are playing. Got to see all of the upsets without having to play hooky!!

Officiating

The Ohio State game was horribly officiated--one official taking away 3 shooting fouls on obvious continuous motion. I thought I was watching jv's all over again.
