Why can't we search?

They were... I've changed it to 500 - that should be plenty!

We're still testing the search function right now... If it starts to impact server load we might have to turn it off again, but so far it is looking fine.

Is there a flood control feature you can enable that will limit multiple searches for any one user within a specified time frame, say 30-45 seconds or so? That might help the server stay stable.

Cougar, there's a 30 second wait built in between searches. I found that out when I was trying to put it thru its paces.

As long as posters don't abuse it with searches for "brown pop" and that sort of thing, maybe it'll last.

just how will it handle the results for a search of all threads dealing with officials errors in starting the clock with 3.8 seconds left with a run the endline throw in???????
