Actually, if he was putting himself at a disadvantage, he should be in the NBA by now. He was an incredible player, with remarkable skills, a good attitude, and fabulous teammates. They made mincemeat of all their opponents, with no apparent effort, or even concentration. One kid on their team put down five 3's in a row in about 10 minutes of running time play. They were very good sports, and polite and friendly to everyone, (including inviting me and my partner to come up and ref a few games in their very small town next winter). If someone fell, even an opponent, one of them would instantly step away from the play and help the other get up. Every player on that team and both coaches were incredibly well-built and handsome (Okay, guys, if you can make occasional comments about female players' attractiveness, I can get away with this without too much ribbing), and they had a high level of teamwork, everyone played about equal minutes. I will be flabbergasted if they don't win state next year in their division.
But this one fnny little habit was there and I wasn't sure if I should do anything about it...
