Another example of communication with a coach. You make an offensive foul call on a drive to the basket. As you are reporting the coach is very vocal that the defensive player's feet weren't set (or moving). Is this the time to explain legal gaurding position?

The point is that good communication is an important part of the job butgood communication doesn't mean alot of communication.
Wrong! The true point of this post regards officials using Ad/DisAd and when it should be used and when it shouldn't. An ancillary point is whether or not some officials can effectively apply Ad/DisAd.
