A great finish

Last night: battled 6 in of snow on 50 mile drive for GV/BV set. GV visitors play great and hold on to win by 1. BV home plays fantastic game against superior opponent. Slow, deliberate game that makes every possession count in a low scoring affair. Down two with 5.7 seconds to go, home chooses to go for the win. The three rims out at the buzzer. It was halfway down and came back out.

Tonight:
Drove for 2 hours each way in 16 inches of snow for GV/BV double header with two wonderful partners tonight. Home team won the GV game by 3, which was close all the way. BV game went double OT. Seven players fouled out. Home makes up a 6 point deficit in the final minute as the visitors miss a few FTs. They bank in a long 3 at the buzzer to force OT. The visitor's captain nails two FTs with 1.9 seconds left in 1st OT to force second OT.
Home missed a 3 in the last seconds and visitors win by 3.
Visiting coach was a total class act. Home coach came and thanked us on our way out, and two of his players asked us if we needed any help with getting our car unburied!


I'm wiped. I'm having some hot coco and sitting by the fire.
