A friend of mine was at a team camp and the rules at the camp are that the coach can't be ejected. Well the coach got a T and then another one. The offical said that each time the coach addressed the officials it would be an additional T. This coach was very stubborn and kept talking. Eventually the coach racked up about 6 technicals until he sat down and decided that he made his point.

As I was again headed to the table he followed me saying "Go ahead, all another one." At this point my partner was there and issued the third T.

In my county on Long Island, NY, all ejections are reported by writing to the governing body within 24 hours. The ejected person, as a rule, is suspended for at least 1 game. In this case I got a phone call from the AD of the school district apologizing to me and saying that the coach would be dealt with harshly.
And this was administered how? How many shots?

3 "T"s = 6 free throws. Always.

It would have been administered as 6 shots and possession for a throw-in at midcourt, but, it turned out that there was no assistant coach. I made note of the score, time remaining, etc. and the game was terminated. It was left to the league and school officials to decide what to do.

This had the potential to become an even bigger mess than it was. We (the officials) were excorted to our cars by school security.
