) Thanks guys for your thoughts. Now, I will go back to where I belong (on the baseball section).
By the way, one of the things I admire most about basketball officals is how well they handle situations/confrontations. When I watch them on TV, especially the NBA, they always seem calm and under control when discussing calls with players and/or coaches. I think umpires need to learn more of that "verbal judo" stuff so that we can defuse some of the heated discussions we have with managers/players.
