I saw in another post that some teams do not allow t-shirts under the uniform, there are several girls on my daughter's team who feel very uncomfortable with out their shirts.

Location was a 7th grade girls league and in Pennsylvania.

[/B][/QUOTE]T-shirts under a uniform top are legal as long as they are the same basic color as the uniform top and don't have frayed sleeves or sleeves of uneven length. You can't wear a t-shirt than is a different color than the uniform top.

It depends on your definition of the words "enforcement", "strict" and "higher".

For some rules, the answer is probably yes. For some, the answer would be it depends. And the NBA is a completely separate discussion.

Nope. It's the Southern Illinois Jr. High School Athletic Association. A few differences than IESA. More like IHSA. 7 minute quarters, more quarters allowed per night for players. Different play-off than IESA.

Do you mean they said to let her play and not question her attire? I do understand that, if that is how it was handled. But officials are, in fact, making a ruling on the uniform issue...either by letting her play or by not letting her play.
Again, I may just have missed it and not understood it exactly.

The girl had informed the IHSA of her intentions and she was allowed to play in a uniform that was not actually legal under the rules. She was not allowed to play during a game by some officials during the season. The IHSA made it clear to let her play and that they were giving her clearance regardless of what the rules stated.

Head wear is covered under the uniform rules. Allowed if the state approves it (I wouldn't make a big deal about this requirement, esp. a 7th-grade girls league) and it's sucurely attached.

You know what my real concern was that she would over heat or get the scarf caught up somehow and get hurt.
