Some very good advise given here. The most important thing to understand is that your not right about every call all the time. This goes for rookies and vets. Open lines of communication are a must. You shoulda called over your partner, decided if possesion was established and then stuck with the call or reversed it. It definetly looked bad on your crew for the Trail official to say that his partener missed the call to the coach. If you decide not to confer with each other then maybe the appropriate response would be "I did not have the correct angle to make a call--Or I was screened away--He/She had a much better look at the play than I." Don't leave your buddy hanging out there the way your partener did.
