The NBA has the same interp/rule as NCAA.

If a player has 5 fouls and fouled out they are bench personnel. NOthing says that a disqualified player cant pick up a couple. In most states this does affect eligibility for future games.

My opinion is that if a player is DQ'd and sitting on the bench he can be given T's.

Be careful about the term ejected. A player is never ejected but disqualified for two T's and by definition is no different than fouling out. If you are doing an adult league I would eject (make the person leave the gym) after the second. If a coach picks up 2 directs they are history and I will never give them a third. I tell the coach they are gone... and they keep protesting I will look at forfeits before I call the 3rd T
