If I send anyone my key, could they mark it?

If you give it back to whomever gave the exam to you, I'm pretty sure that you'll get it marked. Why don't you try that?

Well, considering the fact that I use the refresher for studying purposes, and my real challenge is to pass the new candidates exam, I don't think it really matters who marks my answers.

JR, would you be able to mark my test?

Nope, we don't use the IAABO exam. My guys write the NFHS Part 1 exam. If they fail that, they have to write FED Part 2. If we find out they cheated......

Again, someone musta gave you the IAABO refresher exam. Why won't they mark it for you?

Also, if that exam is just a refresher, why don't you just take the time and look up the answers with your rule books? That'll tell you whether you're right or not.

The honest answer to that...

I'm in university, I forgot my rulebooks at home. They're a considerable distance away. There's no way for me to get them in the next few weeks. If I had them, I most certainly would've looked stuff up by now.

That explain it?

They don't have an association using the NFHS rulebooks in the university town that you're in that you can contact? Or an IAABO board in that town/area? Pretty easy to find that out from the web site-iaabo.org, isn't it?

Maybe they can help you. Of course, maybe the IAABO board in that city doesn't want the test answers to the refresher exam out on the internet either. My understanding was that IAABO posted the refresher test answers on their own web site after all of their boards had a chance to write and mark them. Am I wrong on that?

I'm not paying $30 for new rulebooks when I don't have to.

BTW, I'm a dual member in the new area, so that's not really an issue. Usually I have the books, I just left them at home on my last trip.

I still can't figure out why you don't just ask whoever gave you the exam to mark it for you? I found an old thread where you said you were from Hamilton, Ont. On the IAABO web site, it lists the boards. The Hamilton board - #112- is listed there along with it's interpreter- guy with initials of GC. If you google the Hamilton board, you also find their web site easily. On the web site, they've posted GC's e-mail address. Why not simply e-mail GC and ask him to mark your refresher test for you. Won't he do that for one of his members? That test is listed on their web site, so they're obviously using it. The new board that you're a dual member of must have an interpreter too. All IAABO boards do. You could e-mail him also.

Doesn't that make sense?

Just trying to help.
