SITUATION 10: B1 and B2 are defending near the end line. A3 intentionally goes out of bounds outside the end line to avoid being detained by B1 and B2. Just as A3 goes out of bounds, A4s try is in flight . . .
Penalize the violation if the shot misses but ignore it if it goes in?

By rule, you penalize the violation and the ball becomes dead immediately. No basket, even if it goes.
This is the same as the interpretation we got for swinging the elbows when that first became a violation.
