RnR,

Where are you getting your new Monarchs? I have two pair, and want to order one more as I killed a pair last season. Can't find online, any help would be appreciated.

I got mine at Shoe Carnival for $60. They had lots of them. I know one thing -- they are the most comfortable thing I haveever put on. I haven't found them on-line anywhere either.

I didn't wear my new Reebox this weekend. I picked up a game tomorrow, so I might bring them out then.

RnR,
What's the report on the Fox40 Mini CMG, thinking about getting a few.

Love them. From comparing them to my OLD CMGs they look to be the identical size. Don't worry about the volume. They will pin people's ears to the wall! They feel much better than the bigger ones, too. If you order them order direct from Fox 40. Much cheaper shipping that way! You asked about my first b'ball game. Right now not until 11/07.

I'm just looking forward to being on the floor all season this year. Pregnancy takes a lot out of a season....

Just as I started having fun again the season ended.

Since I'm still off work (free year off with maternity/parental leave) I'm looking forward to doing a few more games than usual.

That shoe store in Effingham usually has really good deals. It's just off the main exit across from the Friday's. That's where I bought my Reebok Patent leaters last year. I like to stop there on my way thru to Indy. Sometimes they have deals you just can't afford to pass up.

Certainly do have some good deals. I believe they also have a big Nike outlet, that has some pretty good deals as well.

What was your secret to losing the weight? Was it excerise, Southbeach, or the pushaway diet?
It was basically a combo of the exercise and pushaway. I've never really called it a diet that did it for me, cause I still pretty much eat all of the same things I did before, it's just that now I'm more careful about quantities. Additional exercise was a conscious effort on my part, including the purchase of a new treadmill last January. Overall, I'm closing in on a 60 lbs lost since the end of last October.

So, on that note, I guess you could say I'm looking forward into fitting in to some much smaller pants this season. Honigs will love me. I wrote a little more about my loss in the Training thread sometime last week.

Hoist a 50 lb bag of potatoes next time you're in the supermarket & carry it around for awhile. That'll give you a real good idea of what you have accomplished. Good job.
