ABA officials training seminar recently in San Diego. Just wondering if anyone here was part of it, or has worked in the ABA.

If you blow up the photo you can make out an object in the hand of the guy in the first row, far left. Here it is:

I've been to camps where they wore both pants and shorts but I'm suprised to see a variety of colors worn. They must be the clinicians.

About the guy in the front row, that's very interesting and I wonder what he's doing with a baby squirrel at a referee camp. ??

?

Actually, I do know someone currently working in the ABA, but closer to Atlanta. I just saw him this past weekend and he didn't mention going out to CA for any camps. I do know he attended a camp around Atlanta for the ABA recently.
They use crew chiefs who travel all over and then the U1's and U2's are usually local, say within 150 miles.

The ABA? You wanna talk some strange rules? Just take a look at their officiating manual, which I did recently. WOW, they have some bizarre rules.

Red face

I once knew the 2nd cousin of the barber of someone who sold shoes to the uncle of someone in the picture.

Does that count?

BTW - the guy in the fishnets is a ref named Mark Warmenen.
