OK. Y'all are right. I yield to rainmaker.

"Which is just a long-winded euphemism for, "We like to run our mouths..."

Mr Rutledge,
Soccer/Futbol/Football is a 12 month sport in many areas of the country & world. This year I chose to do only basketball in Dec & Jan in the past I have worked "indoor" soccer in the Winter.

This year my first Outdoor match was Feb 18th. If each of my assessments and physical fitness tests go well again this year I will work all the way through the State Tournament ending the 2nd or 3rd weekend in November.

One observation, at the level of games I work in soccer I see far fewer "rotund" veteran referees being assigned to work the upper level games.

But then again, I like volleyball. Not as much as curling though.
Hey, curling is a wimmen's sport.

Howinthehell could it be anything else? Give somebody a broom and tell them to sweep up........

PS- credit this one to Charles Barkley. It's one of his lines.

JR:

If you want to recommend to Brad, that Officiating.com that it should add a Curling Forum, I will second it and recommend that you be its moderator.

Not me, Mark. Tell a woman with a broom what to do? That's not a job; it's a sentence.

Not too bad a sentence, though, wife-abusers don't usually get more than a few months parole and some community service.
