Yup, I imagine that the kid with the broken arm is gonna end up with more from Temple and Chaney than a lottery pick in the NBA gets for a signing bonus. And so he should. Of course, you are talking Pennsylvania here. Chaney might get lucky and get the same judge that ruled it's always open season on basketball referees.

Was the 'Goon' whistled for any flagrant or intentional fouls? Just curious.

I'm not sure. But he did foul out in 4 minutes.

No (I watched the game). Not even on the play that broke Bryant's arm. Ingram went up with his right hand to challenge the shot, and with his left hand (inside, between his and Bryant's torsos) pushed him off while both were airborne. The official on the baseline was obviously screened from the left hand action. I'm not sure if either of the other officials could have seen it.

The other fouls were mostly run-of-the-mill pushing on screens, the exact kind of thing Chaney was trying to get them to call on Carroll, et al, of St. Joseph's.

Well, ESPN just said its only for the rest of the regular season - three games that don't mean anything.

they still will either get to the NIA or NCAA tourney.

I can't believe that he's admitted doing wrong and their conference has done nothing.

Chaney will not be able to live this one down - he should retire a la Woody Hayes.

Thanks
David
