If you are interested in Men's Basketball, the Chicago land Camp run by Harry Bohn (usually held at Willowbrook High School) in June. I do not have the dates yet.

Also the Next Level Camp is run by Marvin Sykes. Marvin is a D1 Women's Official, but is attempting to get officials to all levels. The one session he has at De LaSalle High School is a tournament with some of the best potential D1 Men's college player in the country. You cannot get much more talent to officiate than at this camp.

Thanks for the info...This is what I'm looking for but, I want to make certain that I'm not jumping ahead of my experience level yet. I have been patched for 3 years and reffing approximately five. I just started this year with Varsity games & that is where I want to immediately improve (sorry, should have stated this in my initial post). I will keep an eye out for info. on the 'Harry Bohn' camp and/or your post.

Thanks again...
john

Your experience level should not be an issue if you attend any of those camps. Marvin's camp and Harry's camp are good for newer officials as well as those with a lot of experience.

Darryl Lamps (former D1 official) holds a camp typically in Peoria and Rock Island every year. He assigns several Men's and Women's conferences that range from Iowa and Illinois. He also assigns the Western Big 6 conference for HS. There is a camp that you might want to attend. I just worked with Darryl on Sunday. The information on his camp should be coming out soon as well.

Peace
