Unfortunately, because we provide pinnies and have a large number of participants, 0 (or 00 :-p) through 99 are all legal numbers. It makes for an interesting first week of games.

This quote made me curious about the NCAA rule, so I looked it up:

Art. 11.Wearing an illegal game jersey.
a. Penalize offender with a single indirect technical foul whenever discovered before the ball becomes live.
b. When a violation is committed by more than one member of a team, it shall be assessed with a single indirect technical foul.


Perhaps someone else will find this interesting. Maybe the NFHS should make a rule change and match the NCAA.

As long as she isn't covered up, she's eligible.
