I had the exact thing my first varsity game...kid on the floor kicks at another player in the first half..I bang hard with the intentional and a few days later I'm wondering about this 3 inch long bruise on my forearm...couldn't figure it out until the next game when I was telling another ref the story and it hurt when I mimicked the intentional signal, that's when I realized I was entirely too emotional about the call, lol.
