Talking More fan-speak

"Call it both ways" = fan proclaiming "I (the fan) am dumb AND ignorant!"

A player said that?
Is he dumb or just stupid?

Fans and coaches don't realize that the aggressive team gets more fouls called on them but they get more steals and scores, so it is a trade-off. Unfortunately, for some teams, they are so inept in their aggressiveness that they get more fouls than steals and thus, lose in the trade. I once told a coach who complained about the number of fouls not called on his opponent, "You have to get close enough to someone to have a foul called. Your guys are just too quick to be fouled."

Wink

Forksref,
You ought to run for public office. That's a pretty slick line you used on that coach!

Rev

There's some truth to that about quickness. And, I couldn't get elected because I am too likely to tell it like it is during the campaign.
