i know a couple of years ago they made throwing an elbow without any contact just a violation. what are the other options for making contact with the elbow? i did a game tonight where a rebounder threw an elbow and missed the opponent and i called a violation. the coach thought i was crazy, he said there was no contact and i said thats why i called a violation.

I had a coach not understand that one too.
"She has a right to get her space." Uh, no coach, she doesnt. Not by swinging them like that. The funny thing was there was a tiny touch with one of the elbows to another player. I could have called the personal, but went with the violation (since the touch was minor and when she brought them back after she was done "swinging"). See the thanks I get. Clark |
