Last second shot - good or not?

Seems to me you have a correctable nothing until the guy jumps on the floor at the end of the game. Everything up until then is part of the 'stuff happens' mentality. All the more reason to keep a tight grasp on things, especially if you're in a game where things aren't so tightly controlled or you have people involved who aren't terribly aware of the rules. No one noticed that there were nine players on the floor? Didn't that raise a red flag?
