Are you sure the T was for the elbow, and that it was assessed only after looking at the monitor?
If they gave a T based on the replay, that's a HUGE screw-up for this crew (the last few NCAA officiating bulletins have been emphasizing this non-stop). That said, they are allowed to look to see what the clock should be set to. I can only hope this is what happened.
