To coaches: What's the pregame format? ...then... We're going to give you everything we have tonight. Doesn't mean we're going to get everything right...but I guarantee we'll be giving you 100%! As long as we can communicate with you, we'll be happy to talk to you as much as possible during the game. Ok? Let's have your captains over here for a quick meeting please.

To captains: You guys are the leaders of your teams! Take care of your own teams. Listen to what we say to you and we won't have to blow the whistle as much! The fans are not here to see us referee! They are here to see you play! Good luck & let's have fun.

what i say...

to the coaches, are the players legally and properly equipped? at TOs and Intermission be ready to play on the 2nd horn.

to the players, who is speaking for each team? then 3 things:
1. Good sportmanship all the time
2. when the whistle blows stop immediately and give the ball to either myself or my partner
3. have fun!

then i ask my partner if he/she has anything to add. if not, then i say good luck and have a good game.
