Unbelieveable

Talked with a friend of mine who is a Freshman coach. Had a game the other day and the officials did something that was completely unbelieveable. Cannot believe they handled it this way. HOST team nails what appears to be a game tying three at the buzzer. Officials go and check the official book and find that my friends team is up by one point according to the book. They tell my friend that "it is a correctable error" and that they will play the over time, however my friends team will start the over time up by one point.
