I'm curious as to why they would not think this is a BC violation? Did they say why? Of course, the obvious reason is because they have the typical coach's knowledge of the rules.
Typical coach's knowledge of the rules, although it did surprise me a little that the varsity coach didn't know it. She was the one being most vocal - trying to claim the ball never had front court status because it hadn't actually touched the floor in front court - unfortunately for her, the rules & casebook 9.9.1.C.a say otherwise......
