Did you contact him? In my association, it is the rookie's responsibility to contact the mentor. I was fortunate that I got a good one years ago(actually 2 since they are partners). We are still friends and work together from time to time. I thought the mentor program was the most beneficial of all other forms of training. Not only them evaluating me and giving me feedback, but going with them and talking with them at half and after the game as to why they had or or didn't have a certain call. I also learned the politics behind getting games and other critical info I still use.
