I don't think age has anything to do with anything. It's experience, the more you deal with coaches and players the more you'll realize that you've got to treat them with respect and they'll do the same, not throw come backs at them. When I started off, I had a huge ego, I was pretty quick to T and it took some time (4 years and counting), but I calmed down a lot.
One of my long term goals is to be able to take it easy on the court, because I'm way to uptight and intense.
But I don't know about the rest of the guys, but you seem old to me.
Not all referees are old people, you've got about 12 years on top of me.
