Coin Toss To Start the Game

Plus, the coin toss "crap" in Iowa causes some problems for teams crossing the river. I worked a game in Nebraska just south of the Omaha metro where a team from Iowa came over, and I forgot that they don't jump to start the game, so when their girls came out on the floor for the opening of the game, they asked "who won the toss?" It was a freshman game (of course!). Iowa coach was like, what? You forgot the coin flip? I told him, welcome to Nebraska! My partner looked at me like HUH???? Then coach realized what was going on and started to tell his girls where to line up, and all that. I say everyone should start with the jump and leave it at that!
