ESPN reporting there will be criminal charges against Ron Artest & 4 other Pacers tomorrow.

I heard that 5 fans were also getting charges filed on them.

My understanding is that all charges will be misdemeanor assault charges, except the fan who through a chair will be charged with felony assault.

The 5 players and 5 fans probably will all get a $500 fine. Hopefully the judge will make them all do a day of community service. I'd love to see all 10 together picking up trash along Interstate 75.

I think you're close to the truth, although I bet the chair thrower is gonna see at least some time behind bars.

Once the civil suits crank up we'll be seeing some huge numbers being tossed around, imo.
