we have a jump ball, go with possesion arrow...white ball
we hand the ball to W1, at that time W2 and B2 get tangled fighting thru screens and kinda get a little heated and you end up calling a double foul for their extra curricular stuff... does white keep the ball since it never came in, or do you take it away from them and give it to black?? when does the arrow switch, when you put the ball into whites hands or when it comes in bounds??

When there is a foul by either team before the AP throw-in ends, the team who had the ball for the AP throw-in when the foul was committed retains the arrow for the next AP throw-in situation.

In your play the AP arrow is not reversed because the double personal foul by W2 and B2 was before Team W's AP throw-in ended. The next AP throw-in situation is the throw-in due to the double personal foul by W2 and B2.

The AP arrow is reversed when the AP throw-in ends. The throw-in ends when it is touches or is touched by a player on the court or the team making the throw-in commits a throw-in violation.
