Just curious about different points of view. Most of the time, when a person is fouled after the shot (whether still airborne or back on the ground) a shooting foul is called. I realize this is correct if the person is still in the air. But I almost never see the call any different if the person has landed and then is fouled. Can anyone give me their view of this call.

See page 2 "Act of Shooting". This was discussed a few days ago.

You must be watching only games officiated by incompetent officials. The odds against that are great, so you must be incredibly lucky. My advice to you is to buy a lottery ticket - fast.
