Awww, I wonder if I can get kittens for the front of my Palm Pilot?
Sure. If you want, I'll send you some live ones. Just glue 'em on.
Staples work too.
Tsk, tsk, tsk! How a sick and disgusting.

And furthermore:
What a Dexter.

In addition, I use outlook for scheduling. I enter the games on my outlook caledar (directly exported from RefTown.com ( gotta plug my site where it shines ) and can see all of them with full game details in outlook (and on the road trough my Pocket PC).

OK Cam, cough it up.....what's the best way to export from RefTown.com to outlook? I've been manually entering my schedule in Outlook calendar & syncing with my Ipaq pocket PC. The idea of sucking the data directly from the web site occurred to me, but I haven't had time to look at it yet. Since you designed the site, your experience would be appreciated. Volleyball is starting soon - if Debi is going to use the online scheduling for GPVOA, that might be a good place for me to try it......
On the games page, click the calendar icon beside the date for the game of interest. When you hover over it, it will also say "export to my calendar".

Question

I am a little unclear about which miles can be included as a deduction on Schedule C. I found some info at http://www.naso.org/tax/ch3.html. Can anyone clear this up for me?

Dell PocketPC. I have the X5 but the new X3 is much smaller and lighter (and minus the Compact Flash slot but with builtin wireless and bluetooth).

Palm's datebook software is quite limited compared to Outlook/ Pocket Outlook.

Camron - I agree that Palms datebook is limited but there are add on products that make it very productive.

The main problem I have with the Pocket Pc is the limitation of 3rd party software. Not a lot out there and hard to develop.

The newer Palms have plenty of memory and can use compact flash, play videos, store pictures etc.

Brandon - Really the only players left in the Palm market is Palm. Sony is pulling out. Get a color Palm with minimum 16 meg and whatever features you need.

Having owned and used both for many years, my preference is the pocket PC. My current unit is a HP/Compaq Ipaq - very cost effective and more than adequate for my needs. The model I have supports SD memory cards & can link to my PC via either USB or it's built-in Bluetooth interface. Some of the higher end models also incorporate WIFI capability.

Contrary to Rick's experience, I have had no problem finding add-on programs for those few applications that I really need. IMOH the included standard Pocket PC applications are more versatile than their PalmOS equivalents, making the need for add-on 3rd party applications relatively rare.

My advice is to hit your local big-box electronics or office supply store (CompUSA, Office Depot, Staples, Circuit City, etc.) look at the various manufacturers/models and find something that fits both your needs & your price range.

Just my $.02.......
