"I never KNEW someone so stubborn! 'Havaii' is how it's pronounced!" he replied.

And so it went all the way to the vacation...

As they got off the airplane, they passed a man. The husband abruptly stopped the wife and turned to the man to ask, "Now that we're on the island, you can settle an argument between my wife and me. Is this'Hawaii' or 'Havaii?'"

"This is Havaii," the man replied.

"Ha!" the husband gloated, turning to his wife. "See, didn't I tell you never to argue with me? I'm alllll-ways right!"

As they began to walk away, he turned back and gave the man a hearty "Thank you!"

"You're Velcome!!!"

"My wife and I went on a vacation."
"Jamaica?"
"No, she went of her own accord."

If you're working girls games, it can't get any verse.

You've no rhyme nor reason to make that post.

Not too girlish for me! But I don't know too many girls that call games. Quite a few women though...

Yes, girls as well women. Most women are still girls at heart... the phrase men will be boys comes to mind.

Well I was just at a tournament yesterday where I officiated girls basketball. If you say they play, I guess I will have to take your word for it.

Peace

don't worry, bbgirl, Jeff isn't misogynistic. He just doesn't have an awful lot of girls' teams in his area that play good ball.

By the way, where are you, bbgirl?

Judging by some of the posts here, I would argue that perhaps class has gone out of style.

I thought a class-less society was a good thing?

In all seriousness, we had Candice Parker, right in my area. So there are many very good players on the Girl's side around here. I just cannot stand girl's basketball. They cannot jump. They do not play above the rim. I am not a big NBA Fan, at least not as much as I used to. But I could tell you much more about the NBA then I could any WNBA game. I cannot name one player outside of Karl Malone's Daughter on that team. And I do not even know her name. I know I am not alone there.

Peace

Try dealing with this when you play! eesh! Just a question, as a ref could i tell her to stop doing this? Even thought it is not really flagrant. But as a player, i do find it disrspectful and amazingly annoying. I do believe that it's not basketball when you amount to that. I dunno that's just me! Just play the game and shut up! hee hee

Of course it is annoying, that is why they do it.

But they can do it. There is nothing in the rules that says you cannot do it.
