great line that works for me...
Sometimes, as officials, we have an assistant coach that forgets he's JUST an assistant coach. A quick one-liner that works great for me is (to the head coach within earshot of the assistant) "Coach, he's gonna get you in trouble."
It puts the head coach in a position where he has to take control. The assistant also knows his place now. Try it...
