I addressed this in my post above.

I want BBallCoach to look them up. Get it?

Mark, this is a new low....

AHA!!!

I always knew there was a conspiracy by you referees against us coaches! Why the nerve of you guys, giving us coaches rule books that only go up to 10! Trying to keep the upper hand, huh??? Now I'm really mad... :D :D :D

First off, Padgett you crack me up...second, to BBallCoach - yes, the coach gets T'd. Is that hypocritical and a double standard - yep. Tough noogies...see, we refs are the ones with the TOTAL power and TOTAL control of the game, and - basically - we can do whatever we want!!! Mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha (that's my evil Dr. Frankenstein laugh there)

No, I go to a clinic with two doctors. That's the Portland's Professor Paradox.

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), neither one can keep up with prescribing my meds.

The coach definitely gets a "T" for those comments.

BBallCoach Mon Apr 19, 2004 10:00pm

Thats absurd

It's amazing that you want to be respected and treated fairly but on the same hand you make what you assume is a joke to a coach and if they dont take it like that or give it back to you, you T him? That is a great role model for our society bait the coach into a T. You guy's are so classy. Dam! I don't get why most people disrespect offcials.

Way to go coach! Just please don't categorize all officials this way.

Adam Mon Apr 19, 2004 10:16pm

BBallCoach,
Have you looked up the rule he referenced? It's pretty clear when you read the rule book why this rule needs to be enforced in this case. We don't like to do it, but we are bound by the rules and rule 11.2.4 is very clear (one could easily call it's meaning transparent) on this issue. Please, get a rule book and look this up. As Padgett says, rule 13.3.2 leaves us absolutely no wiggle room on this.

Adam Mon Apr 19, 2004 10:18pm

Why won't BBallCoach answer my question?

Is it because he won't look up the rule?
