It's usually not a "crew" in the true sense of the word, as they put together a crew of the top officials (in their eyes) in the women's game. If they don't usually work together as a crew, you would be trying to guess the way the game will be called without any real basis to know how that group will get together and officiate.

Though the opponent is the emphasis, the officiating crew was often considered as part of the puzzle as far back as my High School in 1964.
Which officials:

Let you attack the ball

Let you attack the basket

Call unseen hacks

Are fixated on post play

Watch the shooter back to the floor

Award verticality

I find it very hard to believe that a coach does not know the officials for the upcoming game.
