can somebody tell me where to find out who has been assigned to do the UConn/Tennessee game in New Orleans?
Thanks.

It is a curiosity to me as to why we want to know who the officials are *going to be*.
Why do we want to know?

Watch the beginning of the game. They will most likely tell you just before tipoff who the officials are.

Still hoping to get the call maybe?

Anyway, this question does pop up this time of year, a lot like the crocus.

Regardless, I am willing to bet the coaches know, so that they may adust their practice to their particular perception of the officiating crew.

It's usually not a "crew" in the true sense of the word, as they put together a crew of the top officials (in their eyes) in the women's game. If they don't usually work together as a crew, you would be trying to guess the way the game will be called without any real basis to know how that group will get together and officiate.

Time is better spent analyzing their opponent :)

Hmmm...but what happens if the crew decides to call the game differently than how the coaches expect them to call the game??? Then what????!!!

Hardly consistent with the opinion you put forth in our discussion earlier today. IMO.

Hawks Coach,
Though the opponent is the emphasis, the officiating crew was often considered as part of the puzzle as far back as my High School in 1964.
Which officials:
Let you attack the ball
Let you attack the basket
Call unseen hacks
Are fixated on post play
Watch the shooter back to the floor
Award verticality

I find it very hard to believe that a coach does not know the officials for the upcoming game.

The better team will win.
The better team will adjust. ;)

Nope.

The names of officials for each game aren't released until 30 minutes before tip-off.

Of course, if the a coach or manager happens to see one of the refs around town . . . . They're not sequestered. (The Nat'l. Championship Game officials are, however, prohibited from watching the semi's in person.)

Just announced. The 3 stooges have been picked. Oh, I'm sorry, April Fools has already gone by. Regardless, I'm sure it'll be a great crew on the floor.
