Mick - where does "XXXX-XX-XXXX" fit into this?

Dexter, Dexter, Dexter....

That's a phrase that should be added to the list of words automatically edited out of posts!

No, the prices are in British pounds. Great Britain is only semi-FEEBLE. That's because Tony Blair RULES!!!

Literally.

BTW - the guys from the BBC show "The Office" introduced themselves at an American awards show by saying "Our show comes from England. You remember England - we used to rule the world before you did."

The Brits are OK, not like that country full of cheese-eating surrender monkeys.

Some TLAs are OOB, POI, LGP and BFD.
BFD?

Big Deal. Fill in the rest yourself.

OIC ;) BTW, I Googled for BFD and came up with zip.

WTF?

Results 1 - 10 of about 438,000 for bfd
Maybe google doesn't like you?

Your search - BFD site:www.officiating.com - did not match any documents.

Suggestions:
- Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
- Try different keywords.
- Try more general keywords.
- Try fewer keywords.
Also, you can try Google Answers for expert help with your search.

I guess not. :(

Ahhh....I see...you cast a small net.

I only searched the entire net.

http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...oe=UTF-8&q=bfd

BTW, first hit is a stock quote for a company called Boston Fed Bancorp, ticker symbol BFD.

Now that's gotta be a good bank!

I saw the writer of that show on Letterman a few weeks ago. Funny guy.

I never saw the show itself though.

So here we have a thread that degrades into silliness, and irrelevancy. But, there are some of us who LIKE that!

Seriously, what I like most about this board, is that it has been a tremendous help to me in my advancement. When I've had a lousy game and handled something poorly, I get advice, encouragement and a certain amount of comfort. When I get some good news, there's someone I can brag to with a minimum of political ramifications. And here's some rules help, some philosophy, and a very interesting overview of how things are different around the country.

And when the games get few and far between, I can feed my jones here. Yea, it's like that!

BLARGE

One to add to the Basketball official's vernacular:

BLARGE = When two officials whistle a play and one is signaling a Block, while the other comes out with a Charge.

Where are you getting PC from personal foul? (And on IPC??) I've always done PC for Player Control (and don't forget TC for those college types, or OF for our W/NBA folks).

That's not an acronym, though - it's a compound noun.

Dislikes: The acronymns were difficult to learn at first. Softball/baseball use more of these. But I suggest to spell out more for use newbies.

I'm just wondering what acronyms we use? (I can only think of BC, BI, GT, and FT.)

Some TLAs are OOB, POI, LGP and BFD.

And don't forget BFE to refer to the god-forsaken places some of you poor slobs have to live in...

Like the Pacific NW where web feet are standard issue.
