I have the utmost respect for all schools and their team nicknames. Note the smiley on my original post.

YES, they are the "real fans." Our local TV news (located approximately 120 miles from Watersmeet) interviewed the elderly gentleman that sings the school song. A very wise fellow that senior Nimrod alumni is!
