One thing to add on ground rules...It might be a good idea to quickly cover the major Fed rules that differ from NCAA, especially the first game of the league. The two I usually deal with are the PC foul difference, and the free throw rules (can't use blocks, play the rim).
As you rec league refs know, many players know only what they see on TV, which is NCAA and worse, NBA.
