Had my local association board meeting this morning. My job is to present oddball situations for discussion. I talked about funky shot-clock situations, and then as a separate issue, I used the scenario that we discussed here in which the clock was improperly started with 2.4 seconds left in the game and the horn sounds as the player catches it in the frontcourt.

Discussion was very lively and afterwards I got lots of thumbs-ups on bringing an interesting segment to the meeting. So, thanks to everyone who contributed to that conversation. It was very helpful to me today!
