Assuming coaches are available at this time, I go over at 12:00 talk to coaches, one of the things I mention is, "coach is your bookwork done?" this gives them a little time before I actually check the book then get captains then play ball...hopefully starting the game with a jump if all my preventive officiating worked out LOL :P

Huh. We go over at 13:30. Both captains AND coaches are required for the pregame. That way we have enough time to do the pregame, and still check the book before the 10 minute mark. If the head coach is not present, have an assistant step in for him. If you have to ding them for not having the book ready, that's their own damn fault. The rules have been the same for years.
