Earlier in this thread, I praised George Mikan. He deserves it.

However, if I had to name the actual NBA team (not all-star team) starting five, it would be the Chicago Bulls team that started Norm VanLier, Jerry Sloan, Nate Thurmond, Chet Walker and Bob Love.

That was a team that should have been called a lot for high sticking. Basketball was not for whimps then.

Folks, I'm surprised NOONE said Jordan. If you watch an old Bulls' games, you would agree he is the BEST to DATE. Jordan is MY FAVORITE and second would be my Son who plays HS ball.
