Of course, regarding a game on this low level, the person hit could have been both a coach and a parent. As a retired teacher and coach, I'm very familiar with "helicopter parents". My son, a college professor, also has the same problems with parents of his college students. If other Forum members aren't familiar with the phrase, I can expound.

Helicopter parents is actually an older term, which has been supplemented by "lawnmower parents"....getting rid of all obstacles in their kid's way. Of course, both are awful.
