Here are the true answers. (Edited by Rich. Moderator's note: I may be overstepping my bounds here but most states still haven't had their Part I deadlines -- neither of the 2 I work have. Some states give this exam proctored, I'm sure. Talk about questions, fine. Putting the answers out there doesn't do anything to advance basketball officiating, IMO. Other moderators or Brad can jump in and disagree -- this was completely my call) [Edited by Rich Fronheiser on Oct 27th, 2003 at 08:11 AM] |

I disagree with just giving out all the answers, but hey, that's me. I have no problem with assisting, but just to give them out like that I feel is wrong. But now that you've put them out, I have 58 as false. It reads:
A player who has been directed to leave the game for injury shall be replaced in 30 seconds when a substitute is available. I said false because the team can take a TO for him/her to remain in the game as long as they can continue by the end of the TO. Am I reading too much into the question because as it is written, it is not entirely False (not entirely true for that matter either). Mregor

Since I haven't seen an actual printed copy of the 2003-4 Part 1 exam, could someone tell me if this matches:
http://www.torontoreferees.org/new_page_1.htm It is the right test since it matches up with the answers that Rut posted above and Rich subsequently deleted. I know this because I saved a copy of them before they were deleted. [Edited by Nevadaref on Nov 3rd, 2003 at 01:42 AM] |
