Here are the true answers.

(Edited by Rich. Moderator's note: I may be overstepping my bounds here but most states still haven't had their Part I deadlines -- neither of the 2 I work have. Some states give this exam proctored, I'm sure. Talk about questions, fine. Putting the answers out there doesn't do anything to advance basketball officiating, IMO. Other moderators or Brad can jump in and disagree -- this was completely my call)

I disagree with just giving out all the answers, but hey, that's me. I have no problem with assisting, but just to give them out like that I feel is wrong. But now that you've put them out, I have 58 as false. It reads:

A player who has been directed to leave the game for injury shall be replaced in 30 seconds when a substitute is available.

I said false because the team can take a TO for him/her to remain in the game as long as they can continue by the end of the TO. Am I reading too much into the question because as it is written, it is not entirely False (not entirely true for that matter either).

I believe once a player has been directed to leave it's too late (by rule) to buy his way back in with a TO. I'm also assuming at this point the kid is already up & moving to the bench, if not then we'll just have to wait until he's taken off or able to walk off on his own.

Since I haven't seen an actual printed copy of the 2003-4 Part 1 exam, could someone tell me if this matches:

http://www.torontoreferees.org/new_page_1.htm

It is the right test since it matches up with the answers that Rut posted above and Rich subsequently deleted. I know this because I saved a copy of them before they were deleted.

Do you think this Totonto Board will correct all our tests if we e-mail it? Or. is it just for it's own members?
I didn't try it (yet).

I took this Toronto NFHS test and if they grade it, I should have my answer back maybe on Wednesday, 11-05. For officials #, I just put in my state.

Just wanted to know if they actually graded it for you.
